Orders & Shipping
How much is shipping?
We offer flat-rate shipping of $4.95 on all orders under $60. Orders over $60 ship free.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We typically ship within 2-4 business days. Most packages arrive in 3-5 business days after shipping via USPS Ground Advantage. You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.
Preview Pages purchased as digital downloads are available instantly. They will be delivered to your inbox via email immediately after the purchase is made.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Currently, we only ship within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states). If you're located in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the U.S. and would like to place an order, please email us at hello@thestorynestbooks.com - we’d love to help if we can.
Returns & Exchanges
What if something arrives damaged?
We do our best to pack every order securely, but if your books arrive damaged, please email a photo of the item and packaging to hello@thestorynestbooks.com within 5 days of delivery. We’ll assess the situation and either replace the item or offer store credit.
Product Questions
How do you decide what books to include?
Every title we carry is personally pre-screened for tone, content, and message. We choose stories that are wholesome, uplifting, and grounded in timeless values. If there’s anything parents might want to know - like mild language, scary moments, or emotional themes - we include it on the Preview Page available for that title.
What is a Preview Page?
Each book we carry has a matching Preview Page included as a physical copy, shipped with your books. These one-page overviews include a synopsis, tone description, flagged content (if applicable), and thoughtful questions to help spark discussion.
Will my child like these books?
While every reader is different, we carefully select books known for their storytelling quality, engaging tone, and age-appropriate themes. Our goal is to help families discover stories that are both enjoyable and aligned with their values.
Will you be adding more books?
Yes! We add new titles every month. Check back often as our library grows.
Can I request a specific book?
We love hearing from our customers! If there’s a book you’d like us to consider, feel free to email us at hello@thestorynestbooks.com. We’re always open to suggestions from fellow book-loving families.
Are you a Christian bookstore?
While we are not a specifically Christian bookstore, we select primarily secular titles through a Christian worldview, focusing on stories that reflect truth, goodness, and beauty without preaching or pushing an agenda. Our goal is to offer clean, wholesome stories that align with timeless principles and family-centered values.
Ordering & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely through Shopify.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is automatically calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state laws.
Can I edit or cancel my order after placing it?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’re happy to help make changes. Just email us as soon as possible at hello@thestorynestbooks.com with your order number.
