The Story Nest Standards

What we look for

• Tone: warm, hopeful, and respectful; conflict serves growth, not cynicism.

• Storytelling: age-appropriate writing that nurtures wonder, kindness, courage, and curiosity.

• Substance: intentional stories - cozy and adventurous alike - that sometimes face hard truths with care and hope, especially in the upper levels.

• Language: generally clean; upper-level titles may include mild swear words -flagged on the Preview Page. We don’t carry strong profanity.

• Content: no sexual content or graphic violence. Romance, if present, is limited to mild first-crush moments. Sorrow or loss may appear, handled for this age range.

Worldview

• Primarily secular titles selected through a Christian worldview, aiming at truth, goodness, and beauty - without preaching or agendas.
